Nice pic... I'm a big fan of panning shots.
If you don't like the tree it's an easy enough process to get rid of it using the "Healing Brush" in Photochop. Although I'd like to see a version of this that's been cropped and rotated so that the tree is vertical. I think it'd look good like that providing you could keep enough of the rider and background in the pic.

Thats an awesome pic!! Don't u just hate it when the sky is grey!! Here's a panning shot that i took. Not as good as your though. What camera do you use?

I wouldn't worry so much about the tree. To ditch the grey sky try mucking about with 'Curves' and lower the highlights, alternatively try using the 'Burn' tool and lower the highlights in that area.

mate, the sky is effectively white. If I could have got that shot on a nice, sunny day, clear blue sky.... *sigh*
