Anyone know why the Police, Ambo's and Forensic Unit were at Oxford Falls today?
They were all stationed on the 4wd track at the entrance to the Aero Club driveway.

Unfortunately a body was found just after the gate on one of the XC tracks. Some very shaken bushwalkers found the dude who had hung himself. It was pretty fucked up and a real creepy way to end the day at Oxford.

yeah, fucked up alright. The bush walkers were the only ones to see the body, the poor fuckers had to walk out from the trail and use our phone to ring the cops. Being true DHers we were too busy getting off the back of the ute without the cops arresting us to see too much.

Haha, I freak out riding through a spiderweb, I'd lose it if a dead body swung into me from the trees...

This guy we were with...as soon as he heard the news about the suicide...

crazy .. wat day was this ??
Sunday. We were loading up at the bottom of the DH track and saw a couple of ambulances go past, they then came back and asked us for directions, twice! We asked whether it was a rider and they said no, so that sorta quenched our interest. We assumed some old fella from the R/C club was in trouble. guess not.

i wouldnt think so, most people who have a place that they can go to escape the stresses of daily life, will probebly just go there and do what they love when they cant handle it any more. i would of thought, a person commiting suacide doesnt have anywere to escape to, which is why they drive themselves to do it. to escape.
