hey mate
welcome to farkin.
like the other replies to this thread you really need to include more information....
but for a rough guesstimate for freeride forks on a hardtail...
. Rockshox Pike
. Marzocchi Z1FR
. Marzocchi 66
. Sherman flick
dual crown on a hardtail really depends on your frame and on your personal preference... personally having owned a 04 norco manik with dual crowns i didnt really like it... but you may so thats for you to sort out..
good luck with it buddy ;)

Thanks for the feed back
i got a Brusier 2 frame (not sure about the geo of it)
i could probably only afford single crown(not that i want a triple clamps) so no more than $1000 .i was looking at geting something like Z1 fr 2's or 1's or some sherman fireflies but i heard that the fireflies have some problems with them

fireflies are sick, a mate of mine has 04 Z150's on his norco dually, they are sick if u can get ur hands on some of those second hand,
or just go with the Pikes, a few guys r selling them on here atm.
and ive read very good things about em.
either way just look at the major brands, see what u like, what types of riding they are "tailored" for, then just read reviews.
but try and get them second hand off here so u can have more $$ to spend on other parts of ur bike. lol or off ebay or something.
put up pics when ur finished dude, would luv to see the finshed product.
