I was wondering whether i should

a/ Buy a pair or rst tripple clamp forks hi-5's
b/ get my sr suntours rebound valve thingy fixed

(p.s yes i wish i could get better forks)

And could somebody tell me how much travel the rst's have and whether theyn would fit on me hardtail (norcohavoc)

those rst hi 5 forks are old school! think they came with like 5 inches or something? maybe less... their the grey ones right? i can remember lusting after a set of those off a gt lts back in the day :P

but what is your budget roughly? because maybe you could hold off for a little while and save for some newer forks? ie some 03/04 dj forks for about the 250-300 mark....

hi-5's have 5 inchs of travel, from memory and would be pretty much the same as your suntours. and i see no reason why they would not fit.
