geo question

im in the middle of upgrading my norco manik(o4 model) and wondering how much the geo would change if i changed the rear wheel(24) to an 26?
would it wreak the way it feels?
cons-pros?

It would raise the BB by about an inch & steepen the HA by approx 1 degree.

This would result in slightly less stability due to higher BB (higher COG), more clearance due to higher BB, sharper.more reactive steering due to steepened HA.

Put difference would only be slight, nothing huge.

it will totally change the way the bike will feel.

you will get a steeper head angle, and the bike won't feel so relaxed.
Really depends what your doing mostly, if your racing DH on it, don't bother.

if your running around the street, the slightly steeper head angle might make things better for you..

it's not gonna be massive difference, but most certainly noticeable.

wont it also be harder to 'pop' up the front wheel?.. cause its easier to pop up the front wheel generally when going from 26 to 24?
any differences you would get used to within a week or so any way...
you would also lose the awsome HT hucker bike feel/look... :rolleyes:
