G'day folks,

I'm up in Brisbane on holidays, and brought my bike up with me hoping to hit Nerang and a few other places as part of a sick holiday. To quote a movie "Some dickless piece of sh!t" has stolen my ride.

I'm determinted to ride anyway, so I'm looking for a rig. So can anyone suggest a decent place to hire a bike up in Brissy? Or even lend one? I ride reasonably hard, mostly a trail rider, I'm not scared to tackle a few down hills, but I don't do big jumps or anything like that. Ideally I'd want a fairly solid hard tail with 4-5 on the front. Can anyone tell me where I could get my hands on a decent trail bike??

Thanks for everyones help in advance.

Oh, and anyone in Byron Bay (where it was stolen from), please look out for a well kitted Gunmetal Gray Ironhorse hardtail. I'd like to speak with whomever is riding it. There is more details of it in the stolen section.

Hi Miko,

I know that Planet Cycles at Woolloongabba (just south of the CBD) hires MTBs. I believe they are Giants of some description. They're probably not high end VTs or anything like that but you can look them up at www.planetcycles.com.au or give them a call.

Another places to try would be Riders Cyclery at MacGregor. They're one of the bigger shops in Brisbane.

Sorry to hear about the bike getting stolen man. That sucks.
