Would it be possible to have a section on the site where you can post up items that will be for sale sometime down the track (i.e.: within 6 months, or any other given time frame), so you can generate interest/buyers, and people can get their finances/act together by the time that the item is actually for sale.
The justification for this is that in the For Sale section, I've seen alot of people saying things like:
"Oh in a month I will have the cash, can you wait until then???"
The positives of this section would simply be to give the sellers more "real" buyers by the time they want to sell their stuff, rather than people "umming and arring" when a deal comes up. Sellers would offload their gear quicker, and buyers would have more time to get their shit together (less grief for the seller).
