i'm a bit over my hardtail and i saw the 24seven bsx 4x world cup frame for 1200 (witch is a few bucks out of my budget :( ) and can't get the thing out of my mind, all i know is it's damn fine looking and it's short travel and i can't find pictures.
-is it worth starving myself?
-is there anything a bit cheaper?

Not a fan of that rear end design for a bike thats going to need to pedal/accelerate well, though platform valved shocks may make up for its over plushness a bit. Seems like cross between a Kona and a Cove - in fact as Kona did do one bike which has that bb/pivot design, most likely its out of the same factory in Taiwan.
Theres better frames around, like the Specialized SX, but not many at that price (only the SX at $1000).
