What hardtail's can fit a 3 inch tire on the rear (nokian galazzodi)
It can be 26 inch or 24 inch.
My 04 torrent used to have a maxxis mobster 2.5 inch on the rear and that tire fit perfectly anything over 2.5 would of been pushing it. (Its bullshit they should make wider wheel arches, who the hell designs these frames, they need to be taught a lesson)
Just list the bikes that you know which can fit a 3 inch tire.
If anyones got some photos of a 3inch tire on a hardtail send some pics.

Most of the Surlys will fit a 2.7" you might get a 3" to fit if you use discs. The Pugsley (http://www.surlybikes.com/pugsley.html) will fit a 4".
