hnmmm i had a them on the stinky not muc you can really do with them. There just an average low end fork not the best on the market id look for some 2nd hand forks like super ts junior ts or boxxers something like that.

IMHO I wouldnt use em for a door stop!
If you cant afford a set of new Jnr. T's - then look for a second hand set of '03 Jnr. T's or a set of '04 Boxxer Races.
They really are a harsh fork - and are aimed at the very bottom level. A little bit of extra money will pay off - even if it means wait a month or two to save the extra $$.........
But thats just my opinion - take it or leave it

i dont know how well the stp frame will feel with a 150mm fork. i just put pikes on my dj bike and have been using them at around 100mm. when i put them upto 140mm, i can really notice it and it wouldnt feel much good for anythin but dh and freeride-ish stuff. try to get somthing like drop off sc in 100mm. or somthing else similar. mabey dj3's?
The drop off internally, in 2005 only differs to a JR T, by lacking 1 spring (and a different spring in the other leg) and having air preload.
in 2004 this is not a whole lot different except that the Drop off has less travel.
they share identical SSV plungers therefore same damping systems (as well as the same crown ect..) (same as 04/05 150mm DJ3's and the non adjustable leg in the DJ2 as well, possibly other base forks I havn't disected yet.)
I believe dropoffs have Steel steerer though. while JR T has Alloy steerer.
mainly a weight issue there, the crowns and stanchions are the same.
I did disect both forks (and others) to find this out.
My point being. the biggest issue with the dropoffs, is the Air preload,
it is possible to get around this with some tuning. But the best solution is to find another spring stack for them. This with some work, can bring them close to or as good as JR T's.
there is ways to make a dropoff more sensitive and progressive without buying anything but i won't bore you with details here.
in short, it's a cheap fork, that is still good quality. but has been slightly cheapend to appear and operate more low end. If you get them, get your LBS to order you a extra spring and spacer for them, or order a full set of JR T springs. Stick them in and ride them. (you might have to make up a plastic/metal spacer (piece of pipe basically).
As for going on your STP, IMO the STP is fantastic with a 5-6" travel fork.. however I prefer DH and freeride bikes.. and the stp isn't one of those.. so my opinion is probably void there.
Kind regards

Sorry to be the one that points this out, but i wouldn't trust the STP Headtube with triples...
Only personal though.

You are aware the STP is a lightweight Street, Trail or Park bike, not a Freeride Hardtail? Its made for a small fork, not a long travel. It is made to have a single crown fork, not a dual crown.
Can you see where you are going wrong here?
