sounds like drops to me, 6 ft you could use a single crown but for double crown, maybe sherman sliders or super T's?

What bike do you ride?
Drops to tranny or flat?
Do you ride up as well as down?
How much do you weigh?
Are you smooth or do you hammer your bikes?
Do you prefer light weight or extra strength?

Give us a bit more info and we'll be able to give you some better ideas. :)

merida hardtail
drops to both, but i try tranny, its smoother
i ride everywhere, i dont get off and push(thats lazy)
i am about 70ish kg
i am smooth, or i think i am.
bring on the strength any day.

Psylo dude! and put 10w oil & 10mm more in the right leg. Nice & smooth & strong. U-turn means 5" on the way down & 3" on the way up. Piss easy to service. Not too heavy. Pretty good price compared to other do-it-all forks. Had mine 18 months & have done everything on it. From the Mont 24hr to pretty big free-ride stuff. Ride it just about everyday & I thrash it!

Want more travel go the Boxxer Race. 6 or 7" less adjustability, but the less there is on it the less to go wrong with it.

My boxxer race do the trick nicelyon the front of 2001 Stinky. Mind you the dual crown fork takes some getting use to , can limit alot of stuff you like doing. Abit heavy too! Saying that i've got used to them and lov'em , gives you a more confidense for some reason, well does me anyway! Just suppose it all depends on your riding you do and how rich you are!

go the pyslos just put fork boots on em to save em from scratches and santcion damage, the seals are the only downside on them, nothing good care cant fix though.

well for most of these forks it looks like he would need 2 spend alot of money if he wanted a car it would be smarter to save his money from buying psylos which have heaps of flex (dont question it !! ive used them for years do 2 the lack of money for new forks) i'd say some 2nd hand z3's like on the old p.3s

something heavy, and strong of course

Like and old RST Sigma, weighs nearly 5 kg, but they're strong as hell

Agreed Psylos are farkin tops. I've got the SL's and the u-turn/lockout function is awesome.

Flex? sure they flex more than a pair of Boxxers but for obvious reasons, but the flex isnt that bad, considering what you can do with em.

short on cash? listen to the others outcast and pick up some 2nd hand Z1's

They're not a bad fork, but I dare say that the flex is slightly more than "minimal".

I'd go for the Sherman Fireflys or Flick over the Psylos as I had Psylos on my bike for 5 months and found that the flex is a bit to much for my liking. Once the Shermans went on it was like a different bike. I'm sure the Psylos would be good for lighter riders but if your over about 80 kilos stick with the Shermans.
