nah, i want to keep this bike really cheap. If i get a good front brake, then this would be ok for braking.
this would be my cheap good bike !!

Or, even get a bmx flip-flop hub, and buy the DMR disc adapter, which is designed for their singlespeed hubs but will work on a bmx hub.
It's a good idea, and I'd do it, except I want to do urban on it, and grinding with a disc is bad news.

U brakes are easy to set up, you just have to know how to do it.
Look at some of the stuff BMX guys do, and how well their brakes have to work to do it...

U brakes can work reasonably well, I'd suggest ditching the gyro unless you're actually doing barspins and the like, those things are a pest....
definately taking the giro off.
Ill lengthen the cable so i can do barspins tho !!

your madcore live to ride! what cranks are on them?
I'm the original madcore! err... maybe not.
The cranks are 1pce, but I've given mine a bit of a floggin, and they've lasted pretty good.
