umm i got an vanilla r shock on my stinky and i have no rebound controll and when compressed i dont here any oil squishing sounds.
is it just a matter of toping up the oil in them or do i have to have it rebuilt ?
i ad to have mine rebuilt because of something like that

pulling a shock apart is way more difficult than a set of forks.
if is using pressurised gas of one kind or anouther you risk the chance of stuffing it totaly if you mess around with it.
haven't used the fox, but when i got the racey it has a DNM on it that has anair adjust. if that isn't pumped up, you have no rebound damping, so check it isn't something like that first.
get your LBS to have a look and they'll know for sure.

Dirt Works is probably your best bet... and I'm fairly sure it's not $250 from them. If it was, nobody would bother.
