ON HOLD - Friend not ready to buy!
What: Do it all Hardtail or cheap Dually
Price range/Willing to Pay: Approx $1500
Location: Sydney
[B]Extra Info: My mate wants a bike that can do a bit of everything, from DH to XC. Similiar bike to a Yeti DJ, Kona Stuff etc. Give me some suggestions if you think you have a bike that might fit this bill!

What: XC bike (hardtail or dual) for a female (small) friend
Price range/Willing to Pay: $600 - $800
Location: Sydney
Extra Info: My friend has asked me to source her a bike. She will most likely ride only XC. She is a small girl, probably 5'6" (could be shorter) so will need a small or an XS frame. Must be in fairly new condition.

NOT NEEDED ANYMORE
What: QR Rear rear
[B]Price range/Willing to Pay: Swap or under $100
Location: Sydney
Extra Info: I've got a brand new QR Rhynolite rear wheel laced to Deore hub. Its the V-brake version with the machined walls. He doesn't want to use it on his new bike because the rim is "silver" in colour. Wants to swap (or buy) for an equivalent wheel that's black! Apparently colour co-ordination is important!

I will part with wheel, 6 inch roter and possibly hookworm tyre for 100bucks, you pay postage.

I have a large 04 Giant VT3 which is classed as an 'all mountain' ie do it all bike which I would part with for the right price. I ride everything from the Oaks to Red Hill to Ourimbah DH on it. It's light enough to climb the lung busters but beefy enough to handle the descents.

Hey there,

Re your posting for a mate looking for a bike, I have two to choose from...

older Giant AC3 (2002 model), pretty much original, so with psylos, 6 inch mech disc brakes, ryno lite rims, rockshox deluxe rear shock, XT rear derailleur. In very good condition, little scratches, no real hard riding.

2004 Norco Rampage; once again pretty stock, so 6 inch DJII, Alex rims, 8 inch Hayes 9 brakes, XT rear derailleur. In good condition; ridden harder then the giant, so has some more scratches, but still a long way from abused. Currently completely stripped down pending some new brakes arriving for my other bike (see below), but will be available in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed)

Reason for selling; This! (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=35467)

Prices; looking for under $1k for the norco, and less for the giant.
Location; Lidcombe Sydney.

So, if you or he are interested, let me know.

Cheers
Paul

I have an Iron Horse G-spot dual sus frame (yellow 19"). It's in quite good condition, a few scratches, cable rub etc. but no dents, rust, cracks or other bad stuff. I am pretty sure it has 5" rear travel via a Rock Shox Delux shock. Works well and can come with either a 1100lb or an 800lb spring. I can sort you out with a headset, cranks, long stem and seat post too if you need. I also have an old skool rear wheel, something like a Zac19 on a QR hub. Nothing special but it will do the job and is cheep. Non disc though.

The frame I have used for a year though I bought it second hand, and have done everything on it, DH, dirt jumping, long distence all day stuff etc, etc. It is a reliable frame and the bearings in the four bar linkage work smoothly. The wheel hasn't been used for years but is still in good nick, never abused and I can check it over before its sent.

Price? Not sure for the frame n gear, 4 or $500 with the bits inc the wheel?, the wheel on its own, $50 very neg. Buyer pays postage.

Hey guys, I realised that it was a stupid thing to put so many different items into the one Wanted Ad so I'll be creating seperate threads!
