Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this frame, or it's predecessor (xlr8r?)?
Took one for a spin at the bike show on Saturday and thought it was pretty damned fine....looks good in the cammo paintjob as well :D
Looking for a good urban frame, but something that you can still do some pedaling on....
Any advice?

no, i dont have one. BUT if there is still 2003 stock left then they are $500. My local Bike Shop (LBS) has one with lightning on it at the moment. If i didnt like my frame i would SOOO get 1 !! :wink:

ive heard (off pinkbike mind u) that a few people have ovalised the headtubes, and this is from the people that actualy own them, not some grom

ive seen it in action and i like it very much. looks pretty strong too. also the paint job rocks!

Hmmm, no offence but I sincerely doubt that, unless it's old stock, because I have the current price list sitting in front of me right now...

As for the frame. Very nice, I too saw it at the show although I didn't ride it, and I am seriously considering one. Not actually that weighty either. That CR8 felt mighty nice though even though it's a little shorter and heavier, but it's cheaper, and I'd love to go back to steel....
