Hey this is really strange, or so i thought was strange, when to a b'day today and had a few too many drinks, and i noticed that all my wounds that i have had were really obcvious they all showed up as redish  .

I thought it looked pretty tuff, but i was wondering if any one has experienced the same...

I check all over my bodies and yes the cuts, grazes and everything of that sort that i have had over the last 6 months was pretty obvious.

I though that was strange... how has beer/alcohol affected you and not in just stupid ways...

Wow, how many bodies have you got?

My understanding is that alcohol thins your blood to some extent (which is why one glass of red each night is healthy), so if you drink loads, maybe it thins further, and gets closer to the skin?

:D , i think i was still under the influence whilst posting up the first post  i am opretty sure i have only one body.

But yeah, i am glad to inform everyone though that i am back to normal.

My theory is likely that when you drink and when one gets red in the face, due to reasons that i am quite not aware of, the wounds of recent time where the skin is possibly thinner or something along those lines are more likely to glow red tooo......

But seriously! next time you drink see how it does affect the way that you look....

But somethig behavioural that i have noticed in myself when i am drunk that i get MOOOD swings!!!!! :p nothing too extreme though, i also become more brave ;)

heeh thats the alcohol affecting my frontal lobe aka the brain...cept don't really know if i have one...........

Rum and/or Stella... wife beater material. I don't drink either not only because of that, but because they're both pretty average drinks in my mind.

As for the original point of conversation, I too have noticed how alcohol affects my complexion, not only wounds, but over the rest of my body too. It isn't pleasant, and is yet another reason to cut down on binge drinking.

I drink myself into a coma, or a jail cell, or into a gutter or into so dudes boot.
I love drinking, I drink before races, are races, after races, when I'm thinking about races....mmmmmmmmmmm beer

Alcohol only effects my abilty to give a shite, and I don't so it's doing a great job. 3 dollar beer at pymbie before 5 dollar steak and then of to terry's for free pool you say?

In my experience, i reckon drinking too much goon causes violence. When i drink heaps of beers i am just happy drunk, but when i drink goon, i get angry and rowdy, and feel like causing trouble. If only beer was as cheap as goon. :-)

What about riding pissed?

I rode home from Civic in Canberra to Braddon many years ago after a few to many $8 jugs of bourbon and coke. Anyway I crashed into a gutter and busted my forks (Indys I think they were). Expensive night out not to mention downright stupid.

I really try to avoid riding after drinking. I do it when commuting home from a mates place, and tend to go a little silly... I've only had one crash though, which is suprising. I came flying down a gravel path on the side of a hill, Did a big sweeping turn in to and through a big carpark at about 30km/h then next thing I know I'm tumbling. Get up and realise that the carpark has had dividing strips and gardens put throughout, and obviously I've cleaned up one of them unknowingly.
Whoops, it hurt :o

I was riding BLIND drunk down campbell parade (steep hill down to Bondi Beach) weaving all over the place, when I got pulled up by the fuzz. They asked if i was drunk & i said "yes, very" & they proceeeded to inform ne that not only is it illegal to drink drive, but to ride a bike, ride a horse & operate a horse drawn carriage drunk. Luckily my destination was only 100 or so metres from where i was pulled up so they let me off, but it was a ptretty hefty fine.

I still ride drunk though, it is fun. Had a few crashes, nothing serious.

My first ever get pissed night ended with a ride up the dark streets of wellington with my big bro at two in the morning. I swear it was the straightest I'd ever ridden the macquarie bridge footpath with no hands...

Whoa, I just started reading this thread and as soon as I saw the word beer I reacted subconsciously and went to grab a beer (Heini) from the fridge... Got back, sat down at the computer and realised the only reason I had a beer in my hand was because I was reading about it - I didnt even feel like drinking!

I think I need help - maybe after this beer though.
