European Rock Festivals

Gday guys,
I keen to find out about some music festivals in europe, i am thinking about a trip there next year to see a few of them if possible. I know of a couple like ruisrock and rock am ring. Anybody know of any others, if you do can you let us know please

Those festivals are awesome. Download looked sweet as, and the best thing is they go for like 3 days with some sick bands

You have to go & check out "Fury Fest" (in france this year, don't know about next year) or Donington if you are in UK.

Other festivals include "Glastonbury" & "T in the Park"

i went to glastonbury (in the uk) in 1999. it was fucking awesome. i could have gone home straight after that festival and my trip to europe would have been totally worthwhile. it had good weather that year though. a lot of the photo's of other years it looks like a mudfest.
the line up was excellent. there was always something good on one of the stages and there is heaps of other shit to look at. it is a good idea to go reasonably equipped for the bad weather and the latrine pits were looking ordinary on the last day but that is all part of the experience.
