I reckon it would go heaps better with an old as hell, scratched to shit Fox Vanilla RC. I'll even swap it directly with that crumby swinger you got there, no cost! Just cos I'm a nice guy :D

Sweet, love gemini's. My only complaint would probably hafta be bb height, but to change that you'd be compromising on many other things.
Good job!

nice dicky...

whats the advantage of the diabolous BB cups instead of the XT ones, appart from longer thread?

I think he uses diablous cups because he couldnt get a good chainline with the original xt cups. correct me if im wrong but dicky.
Oh and sick bike man.

Oh and sick bike man.Correct. Diabolus cups extend deeper into the BB shell.
Chainline is also the reason behind the Rohloff chain - they flex more than a Connex or SRAM, and cope better with sideloading in bad gear combinations.

Thanks mate...

I thought that i would be lighter than this, wheres the heavy stuff

You will be able to put a sensible build on an 224 and get it lighter... mmm 224

I thought that i would be lighter than this, wheres the heavy stuffYou thought you'd be lighter than 37lb? Surprised you're still alive mate.

damn forum kids...
Well it's coil sprung for a start.
Then there's no titanium on it - yet.
Then there's the 85kg semi-hack rider with flat pedals element,
who owns 4 other bikes and a car,
and doesn't have an unlimited budget or a World Cup support team to replace the bent 719 rims (painted yellow) after each run of the course.
You will be able to put a sensible build on a 224 and get it lighter...You've backed your wallet into a corner with that one kiddo. Get building :p

I like taking it seriously anyway, and whacking people about the head with it.
Maybe a little too much for my own good.

Yeah, you missed the 'PM' or Private Message request in the link in my signature.

I've been toying with the idea of selling it, but I'm not really in any rush.
The idea was that anyone looking carefully enough would spot it and make appropriate enquiries, rather than a swag of kiddies asking if I'll sell them the inner tubes or something.
