Just wondering what are some of your most memorable movie characters (either powerfully influencing or comedic). The movies can be any age.

The reason I ask is I am going to a themed 18th on saturday on movie characters and Im stuck as who to go as so suggestions are greatly appreciated! Much liquor will be involved on the night so I will be game for wearing just about anything.

I was considering Gordo the Backwards Man as a possibility.

Ahh shit I hardly understood what the guy said in that movie, because he always had a cigarette holder in his mouth.

The guy from fear and loathing in Las Vegas

Hunter S. Thomson / Raul Duke

You need to be a damn good actor, or be on damn good drugs, to pull off that character.

yeh go as someone from that martix, that's really cool. Better yet dress as a Jedi...

haha

nah but dressing as Duke from fear and loathing would be bad ass, it does take a talent to pull off, but yeh....I would go for it

or you could go as El Mariachi from Desperado/once upon a time in mexico trilogy

or jason, jason would be bad ass

or hell go as ash from the evil dead/army of darkness trilogy

haha

oh, u laugh, i've gone as a jedi, the chicks dig it!

and it's probably the warmest costume that can be loosley classed as a super hero; the party was in hobart, by the waterfront in the middle of winter and most of the other superheros were wearing lycra.

rent a Homer Simpson costume.

or, better yet, a Sideshow Bob outfit!

unless it has to be from a movie as opposed to TV show.

hmmm, them possibly try a Gracia impersonation? he's in mountain bike movie's? you could go in body armour and all.

go as whatever the character Heath Leadger played in "10 things i hate about you" - you have to do the marching band/signing scene to make it worth while though.....you'd be a hero if you did that!

i just thought of another

Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction (guy on the left)

http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/543/pulpfiction04er.jpg

Best quote from the Movie...

JULES: There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker 'fore you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin', it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin'. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.

:D :D what can i say. i like the classics
