Gots a DHX5 for the Peeler now instead of the 5th.
Straight out the box, the Fox shits all over the 5th!

well... sell the 5th to someone that knows what to do with it..........

straight out of the box hey and you haven't touched any dials on the fox, no wonder you were not happy with the 5th... it's high performance part for god sakes

sigh......good money wasted, just leave that shinny bike in the garage (no doubt you will) cause that way you won't be unhappy with parts that are shit
by your standard

So you're saying there is no chance that the 5th has an inherrently different feel to the DHX? And that someone can't want a different feel to what the 5th offers?

By the way, I like the white rims, are they DPS32 or 36? They look great with the primer-coloured fork and white frame.

The 5th was set up properly, and I did all I could do to get a decent feel.
Having ridden other peoples bikes I bought one, and straight away it 'feels' much more desirable.
Even the other person with the exact same bike set up as me said the same -and he runs my LBS - so maybe he's a dick too?
Do your self a favour don't assume, just because I didnt write a 3 page essay on why I bought a Fox shock

Hey man posting bout ur fox 40s.... how do u find them? im thinkin about getting some for my demo 9 and i rode a pair on my mates bike and they felt a bit soft especially as i nearly used all the travel riding around in a circle. do u use a heavier spring or was my mates just a really soft coil?
