this one might seem a bit strange but i am deadly serious.
everyone is taking our formal this year a little seriously for my liking so i've decided to lighten it up a little. my question is regarding cardboard body kits on cars; are they legal, if so are there any specific guidelines to keep it that way?
i have no idea in this area and would really appreciate any educated opinions or advice on this.
thanks

i think it's for canberrans only, but if your using e-mail they won't know (for other farkin members browsing)
if you want to see them face to face they are located accross the road from Greaty Union in civic, under "In Blue" i beleive (or around there)
hope that helps some...

and real music, no doof doof for me
it means theres no limos and fancy suits for me, meaning i have how many hundred dollars in my pocket for the after party
P.S. tim, your volvo needs flames down the side.

as for the body kit it just has to be at least 100 mm off the ground and im sure the rest would be fine so long as it wasnt dangerouse to driver or anyone else
post up pics when done

^^^
yeah, and that it was properly secured and doesn't obstruct anything blah blah - just e-mail the people - it's free so why the hell not?
you do need hotrod flames though, if you don't want to paint the car, just sticly tape some big bits of painted paper on to the car.
b-e-a-utiful!!
P.S.
sounds like a good plan!

Well its kinda pointless having a limo and a suit if you dont have a hot bird on your arm :D
Been watching the KFC ads have we? Id be going ahead with that plan for sure, atleast its semi original, everyone turns up in limos anyways.
Turn up to the formal in a batman suit...priceless:D

i am pretty serious about this being legal.. i dont want any defects or anything :D sound like it'll be a goer but we are NOT painting flames down the side of my car. we will make them out of cardboard.
i can't wait
