Looking for some feedback from anyone who has one of these or has riden one.
Currently have a Giant NRS 1 (4 Sale if any interest, see thread in frames), and looking for something a little more relaxed with a bit more travel.
I have been looking at the Yeti 575, but came across the Ellsworth at a reasonable price and riding reviews on the web it comes up OK, but there is nothing like someone who can speak from experience.
Thanks for any help that comes along.

They are good, but I know of a number of Joker/Isis/Distance frames that have snapped at the BB.
Was in Phantom yesterday and spied this. Might be up your alley. They do a frame only. Welded up in Canada. Awesome.

They are good, but I know of a number of Joker/Isis/Distance frames that have snapped at the BB.I'd be suprised if you know of any Distance frames going snap. There have certainly been some issues in the past with earlier Jokers and Isiseseses going ping, but short of jumping off the roof of a house, the problem areas are fixed on the current ('04/'05) models.
The ATLAS (aka, single pivot) design is a nice and simple one. The Ellsworth single pivots are pretty solid - good bearings and plenty stiff enough through the pivot/swingarm. I've been riding them for a few years now, and apart from some of the aforementioned issues, they work for me. I've currently got one with a Fox RP3, and I reckon it pedals pretty damn well (even if the pilot can't) and needs basically zero maintenance.
I've also ridden a 575 a bit, and that's also a great frame. I found the 575 a bit too upright/short though, but that's a very personal thing.

Coming from an NRS (Not Really Suspension) and going to the new distance, not the old AEON design, will change your life. I love Ellsworth's, so I may be a little biased, but they are simple, light and fast. And now they are a little cheaper too.
