Does anyone know if the new giant team dh will be ready for the 2006 season?or are they still going to use all the 2005 models. Most of the giant sites have no information about this matter?

From what I have been hearing, you should see the new DH bike in Giant's '06 line-up. However, I haven't heard for sure. We may not know for sure until after the Interbike at the end of the month.

No one even knows yet if a team is to be produced. The new comp, however, will use an 05 frame, rather than a new maestro one.

the 06 TEAM (the new proto) hasnt even been past the prototype stage, so wont be seeing it for atleast another 6 months.

The maestro DH bike is coming as evidenced by the fact that only a DH Comp is listed in Giant's catalogues and websites.

Only a question of when.

I got word from the National Sales Manager for Giant at the '06 launch in Melbourne a few weeks ago that the DH specific Maestro bikes aren't being released until the '07 season sorry guys.

the maestros rnt being released until this time next year. Heres a pic of the 06 Comp. Havnt been able to find any pics of the team.

I think your eyes are rooted, go get some new ones quick!...nah, the camera angle makes it look a bit smaller, but it would be a 26.

Nope. Expect the DH Maestro to be landing around May/June.

According to the fine folks at DECLINE Magazine, it should be released at some point in 2006. Not too sure when...
