hey lads & lassies,

i was just thinking to myself (as you do) and i thought that the admins on Farkin should make some sort of t-shirt or jersey that represents farkin, and when people ride they can were there farkin shirts and more people will join!

melbourne riders has done this and i think farkin should,

just imagine you go some random place and you go for a ride and you were your farkin t-shirt, and some other riders see you and they see that your a member of farkin and then......you become good mates, and you can talk to them on farkin!

wouldnt it be nice.....

so tell me what you think of my idea!

At the moment we have few of the old school tees in stock in White and Black. Hopefully we will have the new ones in stock by the end of the week. The old school tees are currently 10% off at $26.90. I am assuming that our price on the new ones will be close to this price.

Big companies like Nike are rubbing their hands in gold and lighting their ciggarettes with $100 bills, as consumers like to pay for wearing a 'tick'.

Sorry it looks like we only have the black tees in large and Xtra small at the moment. Rememeber these are the old version of the tees and the new ones are coming soon.

There should be complementary shirts given to members who have been on this site for quite sometime. I.e over 3 years and have contributed valuable information, set a critera that members of farkin.net need to meet to get a free T-shirt. That way perhaps farkin.net will become clean with no more pointless posts. And as more and more people see this shirt around the local tracks etc, ratings and members increase for this site. You would be hitting two birds with one stone.

With money issue, how about organise a sponsor who producers shirts and advertise his/her stock on Farkin.net if you have enough space
Perhaps:
-give Farkin.net shirts with a simplistic font to over 3 years members who contribute valueable information(only contact my PM when they satisfy critera) [Just a suggestion]
-Charge for shirts that are designed with catchy fonts, for those who require better looking shirts, make sure they look better aswell compared to the free simplistic design[just a suggestion]
-To try and get sponsors interested promote the large turn over of people on farkin.net and the greater demand of specific products through your site

Many new companies these days want to simply get their name out to consumers, so consumers are aware of the brand. That way companies gain reputation and after a running loss, their sales will slowly creep back up over time.

I perhaps sound abit optimistic with finding a sponsor, but have you tried this?

I imagine farkins already hard enough to keep afloat as is. I figure people should pay.

All your idea's are valid and easy to type .... but trying to put that together would be a massive task.

Also ... thanks for being a member for 3 years and contributing !!! we are honestly thankful for those members who stick to it and continue to educate the community ..

But remember this.

The Admin team .. has also put a shit load of hours into this site for the last 3 years .. and Scott hasn't charged any member to use the website .. so yes if we had been charging you $20 a year membership ... then maybe you would deserve some free stuff .. but this has been a free service and unfortunatley farkin isnt some multi million dollar company so free stuff probably wont happen this week.
