I'm running mine with Wethepeople Hi Slick cables (BMX brand), Avid Speed Dial Levers and then the HMX 2 callipers..

They are working pretty well.

How much are they new?

If you in melbourne and the price is right I'll sell you mine...

I've got some HFX 9's that need new pads + a bleed so that will help me out!

I think they would be a decent set of brakes, just get a Dia compe Dirt Harry lever then they would be very nice!

yeah they work great once you change from the 1st set of pads

though i warn you if you bent a rotor you will forever hate the noises and problems

realy i think you should get some 6" avids (lighter, simple)

or just but a pair of second hand hydros (preferably 6" for the street and 8 is overkill if you ask me)
