How to build DJs

hey im building some djs but ther my first ones and they aint looking too good.
I cant figure out how steep to put them at how kicky they are and where and how steep to put the landing ramp, and is there an easier whay than to just dig a whopin great hole and use the soil???
how big should i make the gap

your just going to have to build,rebuild and then tune them so to speak...
just look at some other peoples trails, give them a hand building and theyll generally give you the skills you need....you can have a look around farkin for tips but there are so many variables with the dirt,skill etc that its really a matter of trial and error....

ive built shit loads of trails and yeah u do nedd the big hole..it gives u the momemten 4 the next jump.....

yeh we use 2 build staks all the time as well
we just got some hevy logs and layd them out
filld the gaps with weeds and then dirt over the top, compact it staks and do more layers, then wait for it to rain and scrape off the excess dirt.
mainly just pends on wat resources you have aswell.

If you dont want to build fat holes for the dirt build holes between the 2nd kicker and the 1st downramp it also means you dont have to dig as much dirt.
