Hey guys i'm thinking of getting a new dj bike and i checked out the mongoose site. What are your opinions on the 06 Ritual? http://www.mongoose.com/bikes/detail.php?id=358&brandLine=Pro_International&brandID=58
its a big improvement over last year's model.
I'm not sure wether it can run 26" wheels though. does anyone know if it can?
cheers jamie

yeah i dun mind it, its a mongoose so tis crap hahahaha but other than the stickers its alright hahaha, i'd hav one for a thrash around street bike, how much they rrp'in?
I rode the 05 and hated it, because of the following:
Long chainstays with the 24" wheel whacked the geo
Crap brakes, especially with the gyro
Forks did nothing other than hold the front wheel
The 06 looks like a vast improvement though, all that i would really change on that bike would be to take the front brake off, and to take the gyro off and run a long cable through to the rear disc. Make sure you get the forks set up properly as well if you buy one. Looks the goods though!
Another ride to check out would be the P. Street....

I have been looking around but I cant seem to find a price on them.
yeah they definately are Mantiou forks, in the pic the ritual has Manitou Stances and on the spec sheet is says dirt jams, If it comes with dirt jams i'm not getting it!

Dirt jams are more reliable than stances.
They are around the 1k mark, well they were last year, so it should be the same.
And judging from the picture, you could run 26inch wheels, but it'd be best to give the guys at mongoose a email.

OK EVERYBODY!!! LISTEN UP!!!
These bikes have not been released yet, so no one are gonna know how they ride, wieght, or any other little things that you guys have been asking.
If you want real answers, try talking to someone at mongoose (email them for gods sake) and talk to your local dealer.
I forgot my name

mongoose haters can FUCK OFF. you have crap un-educated opinions which i hope no one pays attention too. mongoose have a really good brand going or happening and if you support it can become an even cheapr version of norco/kona offereing relatively good bikes at a damn fine price!
fvck that haters.
keep the front brake......i love endos:)
