Gday Guys,
First of all yeah yeah, this could be in parts and acessories, but as im looking for a Bmx chain and chainring i thought here would be more appropriate.

Anyway, as i said above im looking for a Bmx chain and chanring. Only requirements are that the chainring must be a 32. I have a budget of about $50-60 for both.
I was looking at a KMC koolchain, but ive heard that they arent all that flash, and that the cheaper KMC chains are in many ways better.....

Cheers for any input!

on my trials bike i have been using a 3/32" k810 kool chain for almost a year now, no dramas at all, runs great.

on my SS jump/street/park bike i am running a $15 KMC chain, had it for about 6 months, working flawlessley.

i've broken a few mid range shimano chains, some snapped pins, one snapped clean through a link. i use kmc's for all my SS duties, they're great (and cheap too).

I run a KMC cool chain on my SS and its great......never had any problems with it. As for chainrings just cruise around to your LBS and other bike shops and see what they have.

32T BMX rings are pretty rare, and for the ones i've seen in shops; they are well over your budget.
Ah and yes, kmc rocks. I use kmc chains for all my bikes, I've been pedal kickin' em hard and never had a problem.

Ooops, something i shouldve really made more clear: For the chaining, it is for a 4 bolt spider, but capable of running a bmx chain. I have being told a normal mtb chainring will not take one because of the width, which seems pretty realistic....

considered a middleburn ring? awesome quality and very reasonably prices. i run one and have been sprocket stalling on it quite a bit and it hasn't had any problems. 1/8" though, been working great for me though, using a cheap KMC chain.

Edit: i use a middleburn specific splined ring but they are available for 4/5arm cranks in slickshift, hardcoat, regular or both. all available in 32T.
contact peace mccormack through kitepower for details.
