Ive just bought a set of dmr v8 pedals and was wondering about the greasing suringe in them. I didnt realy know how much grease to stick in them and whether they needed grease at all when you first get them. Ive used about 3/4 of the suringe, half in each pedal and was wondering if this was alright. So for those people ho know what their doing with their v8s let me know.

one thing to note: grease is never a bad thing unless it involves brakes.

crank them full of the stuff if you're aiming to pull no footers or similar... it'll stop them from spinning as much when you're trying to get your feet back on.
I've had a set for about 5 years now - the bearings are understandably a little worn, but they still feel OK. I've only repacked them twice.

The grease ports are primarily to control spin of the pedal for when doing tricks. The more grease, the slower (although smoother) a pedal will spin which is what you want if pulling no footers as said before.
It is good to keep them topped up every now and then with grease to prolong bearing life.
