I don't really have too much to do with the For Sale Forums, but I think this stuff is good to keep in there as a referrence for prices, availability, trading history etc.

Yes well that is definately against the rules. When sold it should be stated. Most seem to do this though.

thats what im saying it needs to be cleaned up,i dont believe there is 20 pages(or what ever it is) of items still for sale in every part of the for sale area
... i dont mind asking people by pm to change their for sale threads if the parts are sold(by pm)..but as if anyone is going to listen to me or anyone else
I bet there's alot of unsold stuff, and I don't see the problem with that? Even if it is sold, you'll find out when you make enquiries anyway.
Introducing too many rules/demands isn't always helpful, and unless us adminators start getting hourly rates, we're not going to worry about such a trivial issue.

85? With petrol prices going the way they are, how the hell are we meant to keep a fleet of sportscars running?

I thought about this topic the other day, there are so many old ads that have no relevance anymore and so many items that have been sold but still in the for sale section.
The solution the mods should nominate a day and delete all the for sale ads so no one has to sift through hundreds of old ads. If they want to keep the old ads just make an archive section. But that kind of exists now with the sold section.

that would work fine, but means alot of stuffing around for people that want to sell things, but if date was set a week before or something it would allow people time to copy their adds into word(ect)
i still think something needs to be done but....i cant force anyone to so i will get over it....
