Hi everyone.

Had a stack a month or two ago and scratched my goggles - Pic here (http://img384.imageshack.us/my.php?image=gogglesscratch4lj.gif) (PS> Click on the picture when its loaded to get a clearer image).

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to get rid of scratches from goggle lenses?

Thanks.

and scratches on goggle lenses? i dont think you can really fix it? unless you put some sort of bog in there and sanded it back? but it would leave ugly marks in your view..

You can't fix a scatch onto a lense. This is why motocross goggles dont have mirrored or permission lenses.
Unless its a gouge dont replace them just wait until its really noticable with lots of scratches, then replace it, but by that time you will probably be needing new goggles anyway.
My oakley Wisdom ski goggles have a scratch on them, you dont notice it unless your really looking hard, the only time you see it is if you looking out it from the outside, thats because its a mirrored lense, if you do decide to change lense go for a clear lense its all youll ever need for mtb

Or for about $8.95 you can go and buy a new 100% MX lense from most moto shops.

maybe try taking it to an optometrist, they will most likely have something there to fix those sort of things, but that all depends on the nature of the scratch

Try toothpaste or better still tooth polish. Bung a bit on your finger and polish away. It should get rid of a lot of the little scratchy marks that diffuse light and give you the shites! I've done it before and it worked good.

And leaves your goggles smelling Minty Fresh
