I have always loved skiing and have been to many places.
Whistler,
Fernie,
Silverstar,
Big White,
Sun Peaks,
Threbo,
Perisher,
Falls Creek,
And this year i will be going to Japan!
Where have you been and are any mountains good for skiing and Mountain Biking?:D

mate whistler, yeah great, however they need 3m plus of snow for the mountain to be opened fully. Last year they had 2m and there mountain was mostly closed because of this.
If you've got money head down to South America. You can't argue with this. The accomdation is 3000m above sea level and the peaks can be up to 9000m. Also 9m of fresh snow at one particular resort over winter, im talking this years winter for us.
You want powder got to Japan.
Did anyone do the 50 foot table at Falls this year?

umm?
but jeez seriosly..u fellas are lucky! ive only ever been local: to thredbo once, and perisher almost every year.
and the peaks can be up to 9000m.
Really? There are only 14 mountains in the world over 8000m, and none are in South America.
The tallest mountain in South America is Aconcagua at 6962m. Apparently even a dog has climbed this mountain.

chamonix france was farkin awesome. some very long runs.
canada
victoria
nsw
yadda, yadda, yadda
and scotland (worked there) people went out in the most atrocius conditions which meant we had to out there helping them. there were permanent picket fences all over the mountain to stop all the snow blowing off which made a lot of the runs about 20m wide. a lot of the lifts were ancient. one chair went up sideways. got some good powder days though. very interesting.

4 out of the 7 continents, the resorts are too numerous to mention
South America, North America, Europe and Australasia
Only Asia, Antarctica and Africa to go, and I dont even know if there are skifields in Africa, I suppose I could trek Kilamanjaro with my snowboard.

Cardrona. Heard stories from NZ mates someone tried a 300 foot drop and died. Dont quote me on 300 foot drop, you guys would know how ski shops twist stories
Anyone do Blue Line Ridge at buller this year?
The 50 foot kicker was the one that sent you flying as high as the chair lift? They built it for a big air comp and cut it down 2 weeks after.
