FMX: Double Backflip landed

Travis Pastrana has landed the double backflip- It happened some time ago actually, but nobody posted it on here.. unless I didn't search well enough.

hes developing a nwe trick where he flips the bike withis hands and gets bak on,hard to explain

He also landed the barspin backflip on a modded bike

Damn. Imagine the momentum required to get 100kg of moto to rotate twice. The first flip must be a bloody fast one. :eek:

have seen vids of him doing that into a foam pit on espn months ago, but that is nuts. how long till its done in competition?

That's crazy! I knew he was working on them, but I never heard that he pulled one, and I tend to follow FMX and MX. Nevertheless, I wonder what this means for FMX--how many people do you think will actually be able to pull a double back flip? I always knew that it was a matter of time until the flip was a pretty standard trick, but I don't really see that happening for the double flip...

Apparently they were shooting for Travis's New movie "Travis and the Nitro Circus 3" caption said he jumped on his bike and told everyone to grap their cameras and went right out and did it!!! Said only about 20 people were there, this guy is an absolute nutter no doubt about it:D .

I used to ride Motorcross back in the day .. Well 3 years ago RM 85 and i always never thought of FMX going big lol ..

Was i wrong i have a few mates who do it on there farm foam pit freestyle ramp and there own track.. Im hopping my mate doesnt see that though because he's 16 and trying to do backflips already...

On a YZ250(f):confused: lol and he's also already getting 9 kick naks .. but yeh ..

I also want to see some footage of TP doing it

thats crazy. he also has another new trick where he lays the bike flat and like stands on the engine. it looks sweet. :D if any one has a pic please put it up:) .

Dammmn!!! That's nuts....A double flip, and who els but travis to pull it....i also saw it on ESPN and Fuel when he was double backflipping into a pit, but, on dirt...:eek:.

Its only a matter of time untill the single backflip in competitions pulled by all of the big name riders will turn into double flips, then before you know it....front flips....

FMX has definantly got some evolution happening, quickly too.....
