Just thought ide let everyone know, i just took my brand new Giant XTC1 2006 for its first ride ! oooooooohhhhhhh very very nice, so bloody light !

hah sorry. . . im just real exited, Theres not much that can beat picking up a brand new bike from the shop and going for a cruise

Keep us all posted Davis....My mum is eyeing off the XTC range as well. I'm planning on getting a similar bike very soon. Hopefully the XTC Carbon. The spec is awesome throughout the Giant range. I too, shall be woo hooing.

Looks good :) what are the forks like ? can you go from plush to locked and anything in between with the handlebar lever ?

Do you find this is really useful (I assume it is) or is it more of a gimmick ?

Yeah nice 1 be proud of the new ride, I had the same experience earlier this week when I recieved my new surly 1x1, I know the whole ss thing but still awsome feeling, enjoy

Your a very lucky guy! Those Reba's must feel awesome, and the cranks would go great too... in fact you must be pleased with everything on that bike! I've just about got the '06 XTC2, I couldnt see the point in spending the extra $499 but thats just my opinion and I suppose your pleased with what you have got and I dont blame you.
Sick ride dude, must climb like a beast.
