Just wanted to know if anyone knows where i can get or order some chev badges. I'm going to take all the holden badges off my car and replace them with chev badges.
Done a quick search on the net but nothing really turned up.
Any help appreciated.

No offense matey...but chev badges look pretty try hard on a holden. My mum was taking me somewhere and a bloke raced up behind to take over was being an all round dick head (he had chev stickers on his commadore) mum then went on to wind down the window and yell out "wanker" and flipped him off...she toppped it off by saying "what kinda wanker has a chevy badges on his holden!" My mum would have pulled him out of the car, put his head on the gutter and stomped on it. Shes a rough one, my mum.
Chev badges on your Holden? Riiiight. Even if it's got a GenIII, you do realize the 5.7 is a GM engine shared across the company? For every chev badge you put on that holden, you add an additional square to the tosser factor of the car.

This is the only commodore i've ever liked...a mates VL turbo, not a bogan mate either ! :|, although a bit diff now..handles like a piece of crap but if the driver is capable they arent bad, looks like a crazy colour at first but you get use to it...only commodore i'll ever go cruising in.

you may wish to rock on over to http://forum.streetcommodores.com.au and see if there is anything in the freestyling section... also there are a few interesting statesmans in the my commodore section.. i suggest you check out xcesiv's (http://forum.streetcommodores.com.au/showthread.php?t=8445214) car... fark, that is a nice piece of machine... :D
just be careful when pulling out the lions head badges on the boot and bonnet, as they are pinned in, instead of glued like the side badges..
also, do it nicely and strip all the other holden badges off.. i saw some loser with one holden lion on the boot, and a chevvy badge on the bonnet (what the?!)

Since you don't care about our opinions, I'll just say chev badges on a Holden = sad bogan. About as crap as VL commodores with Nismo stickers.
6.0l big block though? interesting, so you've done an engine conversion?

well the statos come with a 5.7l as stock, so its prolly just a 355 thats hes stuck in there... who knows...
still 6.0l in a pretrol environment like now is prolly not the wisest decision...

It's a 6 liter, got it out of our race boat so i dont know exactly what it is. It's a chev motor and it goes like hell.
I think i may have a pic at home i will post up later.
Nismo sticker on a VL? that could be because VL's have nissan motors in them.
Another comment like the one I've edited out will see you banned. Grow up.
Johnny.
the guys at pontiworld http://www.pontiworld.com.au/ will be able to hook you up

There is or was a place called 'American Auto Parts' in Sydney, probably some elsewhere around in other cities too. Heaps of that stuff, as well as all things bogan...
It has a Chev engine, so you want to put Chev badges on... hmm, well, you know the car is more Opel than it is Chev? Why don't you get some Opel badges, they'd look great.

Almost every holden is based on an Opel/Vaxhaull or Chev...All commodores have been based on the Opel Omegas and Carltons (With Chev engines or the likes....Nissan too!) Everything other car is Euro or US with different engines and a Holden Badge.
Does this look farmiliar?
And you can't say they copied Holden...this was released well before the VT!

I might stick some Chev badges on the Stinky! :p
Meh, just grab a screw driver and walk the streets in your nearest bogan/westy town, much cheaper! (jks).

I may be wrong here but isnt it the other way round? I thought that Opel/Vaxhaul IS Holden, just the euro badged version of the Aussie car?

Nope...theyre totally different cars...just Holden were not that creative I guess...I actually have a book somewhere talking about the development of the VT commodore and how it was designed to look somewhat like the Omega...just like many past models.
Alot of the Euro models have much smaller engines. There is even a 4cylinder Omega (Imagine that...a 4cyclinder in a car the size of a commodore!). Not to mention Turbo and deisel options as petrol aint cheap over there...Interestingly enough...they still make cars with bloody 6litre engines in the US and they don't give a rats arse!

i drive a 4 cylinder magna (parents) thats the size of a commodore. nothing wrong with it. goes 160km/hr if i really need it too (which will take away my p's if im caught doing anyway) its aircon'd and has a cd player in it. nothing wrong with that. althought it is a bit more go would be nice in sticky lane merging situations. but meh i shouldnt be in them in the first place ahahah. i want a mini truck..........

Ahh ok, awesome, at least one part of the car would match the badges... I ws sceptical as a lot of tool polishers refer to their LS1's as 6 litres, because its real close...lol
Honestly, still wouldn't put chev badges on a Holden, but its your car...
It's kinda like putting Mongoose stickers on a Turner........

Nope...theyre totally different cars...Hmm, I was sure that the Commodoore was intially (and for a long while) based on an Opel platform. It's all a bit murky now that GM are pushing for global platforms.
