If you're going as a spectator, racing starts at 7pm.
Otherwise, this is the schedule:
Thursday 20/10
Practice from 4pm till "lights out"
Friday 21/10
Track open for practice: 10am-2pm
Rego from 10am-1pm
Qualifying heats from 2:30pm
Elimination finals posted at 6pm
Rider briefing 6:30pm
Elimination finals 7pm
Presentation 9:30pm
Cheers, Emma
I'll be there, not riding though... one thing I definately want to do is organise some sort of Farkin meetup that weekend, to do food+drinks or a pubcrawl or whatever. If you have any suggestions for socialising, let them be heard.

One option (not that there are a lot) is to train into Olympic park, beer possibly at the pub there (the brewery it is called), and then wonder over to the track (about 10 minute walk), then back to the pub for more beers?
Friday night, meet at around 5:30 to 6:00?

marty

Hey Shauno,
From what I know the track grooming will be done by the clubs who use the track for their local racing from here on. I'm guessing major maintenance will be done by Sydney Olympic Park Authority as it is on their site & they are liable etc.
cheers
EDIT: shauno that dude on the link in your signature is creepy

The only time the track is closed for racing that weekend in Friday, it is also closed on Thursday until 4pm but after that you can ride it. So after Friday night's racing, as far as I know the track will be open to ride, unless there is packing up to be done from the racing on Friday night.

I'm up for the watching, not the racing. a bit of a weights session afterwards sounds like it could be fun. ;)
