Hey i was just Surfing the net and i found these German engineered bikes... (had read about them before) They are called Nicolai.. now i like all types of bikes from Bmx to DH and i've seen manyer frames...
But when i saw this certain 06 Nicolai "Nucleon TST" with built in G-Boxx i thought straight away what the hell. It's design and looks blew me away.. and i just thought i would share the bikes with people who don't know about them yet..
The Engineer who thought of the Nucleon TST .. had designed the G-Boxx to be alot more compatible then the 06 Ellsworth Dare.. Anywas why am i talking still go check it out :D

Congratulations on finding the site, but i'd say you are a few years too late.
Most people on here have already seen it, and the general concensus seems to be that their stuff is overpriced (in my opinion though, that is -to some extent- with fair reason... nicolai seem to be a boutique manufacturer with a little more than a fancy name as a reason for inflated prices) and overdrilled. They like to drill lots of little holes in their gussets but that's not a big issue. :)
It seems like they have scrapped displaying geometry charts for 2006? That's a bit dissapointing... the 04/05 charts were lousy at best, but now they are nonexsistant.
I have to say - i'm liking the look of the bmxtb-race hardtail frame.

Also im am curious to know if anyone has had a ride of one of these machines... Or have they been at Bike shows? anyways i think they are well priced ... in one sentance "Look at the size of the F'in gussets" as my mate put it.
I just can't get over how well they are designed.. Really can't..
Reminds me of the day i saw ym first demo 9 :p Saving for one of those babies now.. 05 demo8 with 40's  :)
Cheers,

johnny - yep both those frames are pretty hot! Pity that 950 euros translates into au$1500 and that's without postage/duty costs.. nice to look at though.
st4ccer - I saw a german girl riding a nicolai at a dh race once. The only one i've seen in the flesh. I think my eyes spent more time oogling the frame than her while she was putting her armour on...

i just had a look at their frames and to me they look like works of art.
each and every frame looks well designed, with lots of gussets where they need to be and lots of machining to remove any excess material.
if i had the cash i would buy one, in addition to all the other bikes i would buy.
but they look so damn good.
