Do tec do crash replacement? updated

Does anyone know if Tec do crash replacement helmets?
I got home from mont and found that I had busted it in a crash. Just quietly I am bloody happy with this, never broken one before. Oh and I am very happy with the helmet I got up feeling only a little sore, when I saw the damage I realised how much pain the thing saved me.

I don't like your chances at the price they retail for. Keep us informed though, I would be interested to know (the look very nice for the price).

They are VERY nice, i have a bright yellow one, i love it, i have broken the visor and the adjustability thing on the back, but i got them both replaced, it is such a light helmet! cheap too.....

I never really looked into the replacment policy with mine....don't think it would be replaced because of crash damage though....:(

Ok I found out whats happening, the helmets are made in New Zeland for appolo bikes, hence you will only find these in Oz and NZ. I dont know if Tec really exists as a company, hence there is no info about them on the web. Apparently there is no crash replacement on the helmets, John from appolo said that it was considered but as they were going to be mass marketed it made more sense to keep the price as low as posible.

Well there you go. I am off to buy a new one. Its the first helmet to really fit me, might buy a few for when I leave the country :)
