ive got manitou axel forks atm, their height and rebound adjustable shitters. main problem is..... every time i hit anything bigger than 1ft i bottom them out. feels great on the wrists. thats on the hardest setting too.
after speaking to the LBS he said i have springs to suit an 80kg rider. im 76kgs.
if he was to put harder springs in, is it going to make a massive difference to the way the bike rides? u reckon itl improve the absorbtion?

fark i should just buy some new forks, but i dont really wanna spend too much money on this rig... saving for a bigger badder beast.
any help would be much appreciated, as its pissing me off bottoming out every time i jump off a gutter:mad:

before you land, pull up on the bars making your rear wheel land 1st then, keeping your weight back, lower the front of the bike to the ground. Or get some heavier springs, might affect small bumb sensitivity but will handle bigger hits better.

I thought manitous came stock sprung for 65-75 kgs?
