I'm just wondering where the best street riding is in the city? And does anyone know where some stair gaps are in the city?

I used to ride Sydney Uni all the time, since the landscaping is awesome and the guards are lazy. Plus, my mates lived close by so it was always easy to get a few people together for a fang :D
Other than that... Darling Harbour has some good stuff but a lot of people ride there. I used to ride from work to uni every day through there so I am a bit sick of it now. Also good for trials as well as street.
One place in the city that not many people know about that is hella fun for DH bikes is on the point on the other side of the botanical gardens (name escapes me). There are a whole heap of big rock-to-grass drops there and at least one possible road gap IIRC.
Dude, the most enjoyable way to ride your bike for street, is to look for things, be creative and make up new lines. I love scoping out new surroundings and looking for new things to hit up. It should be an adventure! None of this "where can i ride" crap.

Very true.
All the spots I know I found from just riding around by myself or with mates, just keeping an eye out. I've had many good times trying to bunnyhop onto a random suburban picnic table as I have hitting stair gaps in the city. Still, some hints about general areas to look are a good thing IMO :)
