Hi,

I bought my '05 Kula-Deluxe a few weeks ago. I'm just wondering if there is anyone else out there that owns one, or has riden one. I absolutley love mine, it performs well and has some great gear on it, and I am going to do my first 12hour enduro on it in a couple of weeks ;) . I haven't seen many Kula-Deluxe hardtails around (although all XC hardtails are getting more uncommon now) so it would be good to hear if anyone else owns one, and what they think of it.

Cheers!

Yep I've got one and love it.

I have had several hard tails and I like the "feel" of this one the best.

Mine is nearly a year old and is still as much fun to ride as the day I got it!

It's hard to describe why this one is better than my previous hard tails but as soon as you start riding hard on some singletrack or fast fireroad descents it just feel better.

Have fun man.

The scandium one is the Kula Supreme. Now that would be nice;)

I have the 'vanilla' Kula. Fantastic bike, super light with stock components. Swapped out the spd's for eggies. Absolutely love it.

The kula line is your do-it-all machine, I both commute and ride trails on the one bike. It just feels racy on any surface. My only worry is if it gets nicked! It stays with me even into the office :-). Planning to do NZ end of next year on it if it's not worn out from overuse.

Word of advice, the stock tioga tyres are a crime, get rid of them before you do yourself an injury like I almost did when I took a corner a touch too fast :). Then again, it could have been my complete lack of skill, heh.

Also check out the new 2006 kula line - they have a Kula supreme which is even lighter than the deluxe!

PS. forgot to say that the Kula is a very rare bike around these parts. I have seen ONE in the past 12 months. Any other kula owners out there?
