alright ladies and gents,

i'm after new rims and i posted a thread a while back about it....
for street, sideways landings etc'eraaa, etc'eraaa.

now, I've riled out the 721's cos i'm not a millionaire, so i'm thinking i'll go with the MTX, M Q is, the MTX S-type and the standard MTX the same rim design but the only difference is the join, being the MTX has a welded join and the S-type has a pinned.

Is it worth forking out another $30 a rim ($60 all up for you playing at home.) for a welded join over a pinned?....thats the only difference of the 2 rims in my understanding.

the welded defently, the pinned version would split. MTXs are not that badly priced anyway, BTW would you buy a pinned bike??? I think not

Yes, fork out for the MTX (welded).

A welded join is always superior, regardless of what atomlab would have you think...
