It's interesting how this bike completely polarises people. People either love the Nomad or hate it. Personally, I think this is an excellent looking bike and I'm very jealous of anyone that owns one. All the reviews I've read so far suggest it's about as close to the "Holy Grail" (is tough, but still goes up and down hills equally well) as any bike has got so far.

I have every confidence that, with a bike this fine, you will in fact ride and pay for this bike, so I might pre-empt you here and move it to Post Your Ride.

Cheers,

Bodin

Personally I love the look of it, especially in the polished silver. So very sweet.
I'm no longer allowed to buy any more bikes  but that would have been one of them if I was. Did you run deeper heaset cups for the 36's? Hearing horror stories of ovalising headtubes ( not Nomads) beacause they're so stiff.
Very Nice ride indeed.

no idea about the headset mate, I just trusted the bike shop to get it right. I haven't seen her in the flesh yet but i will look into it when i get there.

One of the only things about this bike I don't love is that it doesn't have a 1.5 head tube.

I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetics but that is still an awesome bike.

I'm no longer allowed to buy any more bikes :mad:Nooooooo! Maybe your wife needs a few more?

To quote a song I am listening to

"Its a wicked world that we live in, and its cruel. Yes its a wicked world that we live in, and its not forgiving"

Seems the world has been espescially cruel in giving you such a damn hot bike!

there were two frames in australia before mont. One the Neezy guys held onto to hand out to mags for reviews and play on them selves, the other went to phantom cycles. I was going to take it but it was powder coated grey, and I didn't really want it (when I'd saved that much for a bike I wanted everything to be perfect). The next shipment should be in now, or very close to being in.
