If nothing say nothing, be at one with anti mater.
Bizare unexplainable, uncalcuable things they are, what do you know of them?

well as far as i know ive heard that the USA are trying to build a 42km diameter partical accelerator underground....just to create antimatter im talking less than a gram of it!
bad thing is that if anti-matter interacts with anything it will implode and blow earth all over this universe (possibly further)
but that god for a vacum :)
not sure if its going ahead though..
as for Bizare and unexplainable, i have 2 friends who have seen a ghost and talked to one
nobody should really be worried about black holes, but then again nasa think they have spotted a massive acid cloud which will hit us in around 6 years and will probably wipe us out :)
Its all thery but the actuall hole is about the size of a pin head, they look much bigger because of the vast area around them. Its like a funell if the earth went through it would be reduced th the size of a pin head by all the force. If two of them lined up close to each other they would suck stuff outer each other until they move apart.

antimatter won't implode and blow the earth to pieces, it will just decay (and rapidly) on contact with any form of container (or anything for that matter)
from what yr11 physics has told me, antimatter is essentially the opposite to all matter. so contact creates a cancelling effect.
so it's sort of useless in a way. extremely time consuming to create, unpractical when finally fabricated, and unharnessable/storable...

anti-matter, as an explosive isnt as powerful as you think... it would take tonnes of it to actually destroy the earth....
as for that "acid cloud" that comes from a national enquirer headline, so i don't think you can really count that as a reliable source... unless you think that micheal jackson really abducted an alien and molestered it and had kids with it, or that the 'mole people' are having a convention in vegas this summer.

there collapsed supernova's
and because it is so dense it attracts mater around it,
it will cause you to be stretched so far until you are broken into nothing but atoms.
(thats what i remember)

From what I have heard, a black hole forms when a Neutron Star gets too much mass and implodes on itself. It leaves a point in space no bigger than a golf ball where there is so much mass that nothing can pull out of it's gravitational force. It is also believed that our galaxy is orbiting around a black hole. Kind of like Earth around the sun and the other planets are other galaxies.
We watched a video on them in physics this year and it had one of the best explantions/diagrams of space. Imagine the solar system as a flat graph paper, where you put a planet or object on the graph it will sag down, this sag is the force of gravity, anything within the cone it forms is pulled in. A black hole is so dense that the sag it produces is so deep we don't know how far you would fall. But everything falls into this sag and it keeps getting deeper and deeper with the more matter that gets in there.
One last thing, the technical term for wht would happen to you if you fell into one is spaghettification:D
This is all theory and can't really be proven unless we find a way to get in and out of a blackhole, even radio signals will get sucke dback into a black hole.

The Simpsons as much as I hate to quote TV shows had a very acurate potrayal of one with Homer falling in to it eventually then I think he became real or something but until that point it was a good example.

got a sweet dvd from the abc shop about them and all things planatary. called "space" really good.
they have discovered heaps in our galaxy. its pretty cool actually, the found them by taking pics of the night sky and every so often the light of a star gets all distorted showing that a blackhole has passed in front of it.
bags not being on a plannet if ones around though. u aint lasting long.
whats this acid cloud thing?

Yeah I reckon that sounds like it could be the one we saw. It is really good.
