Howdy,
I thought I'd cross post this, as not every one looks at the "Watering Hole" and I also know there is a few riders here who ride at the YouYangs a fair bit... So excuse the double post.
I ran into a GMBC club member (Trav) doing some work in the Stockyards at the YouYangs today. He informed me that there is a working bee on there next weekend, On Saturday the 26th. So I thought I'd post a reminder....
This is lifted of the GMBC website:
With the help of Parks Victoria we will be constructing some new tracks at the You Yangs. Before these tracks are constructed we need some help to repair some of the existing tracks. The Geelong Mountain Bike Club is holding a working bee on Saturday 26 November at the You Yangs. If you are able to help please bring along a shovel, wheelbarrow and rake and contact Mark Barends on 0407 433 682.
You don't have to be a club member to come along... The club is just after as many hands as posable. So if your not affraid of hard work, come along; I believe there will be working between the hours of 10am and 3pm. :)
