yeah people being smart to me, especially when im riding. they dont understand that being put off can cause mistakes and it can only take one little mistake to break a bone.

yeah the water stuff is annoying, they obviously dont understand how lucky we are to have clean water. people in 3rd world countries would drink the same water people bath in and who knows what else gets in there...... oh and they walk ages for water. in australia we are so lucky to be able to turn a tap and have clean water come out.

people not speaking english, NOT RACIST, I don't care what language it is, I just don't think it's cool to go on in another language, it's totally anti-social. Tourists and people new to the country are excluded for obvious reasons, but families raising kids here to speak a non english language is screwed, this includes bad english, families letting their kids get away with sounding like degerates.

protestors get me mad too.. the shit I see them try and pull is BS. Like people saying "this is a peaceful protest, im not being violent" while cops are trying to hold them off and force them back into area's they are allowed.. i can deal with a riot, its just protesters generally are way to pretencious....

Those annoying extremist (not terrorist) muslims who think they have the right to publicaly say that Australians need to change their lifestyle. Stop drinking and other things like that. I respect their religeon (I am in no way racist) hell I see lots of good points in the religeon. What is ticking me off is people coming to Australia and telling us to change. Part of Australian culture is freedom, it would be like one Aussie bigan going to some middle eastern country and publically abusing th leader of that country for not barbequeing pork on Sunday nights then trying to change the law so that EVERYONE has to go against what the country believes in so that this one person feels better.

Cruelty to animals or just general mistreatment and disregard to pets.

Even the culling of feral animals , sure they are a pest and their numbers need to be controlled or totally eliminated , but that isn't the individual animals fault. Blame stupid humans for the problems caused by introduced species.

What language would you speak if you lived somewhere else?
Most people tend to speak the language they are most comfortable with.
As an immigrant to a non-English speaking country i can tell you that it isn't as easy as you might think it is (using the native language). I have had to deal with the same attitude but from not speaking Finnish. IMO it is none of anyone elses business what language an individual chooses to speak. And as for families teaching their children another language, i say good on em!! It is much easier for a child to learn stuff like that than an adult. In many cases the child will actually choose to speak English (or relevant native language) later on anyway because of a natural urge to conform.

The 'party-line', whereby elected members are denied their own voting freedom, by being forced to vote one-way regardless of their personal, or their constituents, stance on an issue (ie potentially against their will) surely undermines the essense of a true democracy? As does the preferencial voting system we have. If I choose to not vote for a political party why should they end up getting my vote via the 'back door'?

When he was trying to sort out his constituents needs/requirements for the sale of Telstra no one would give him a straight answer. He'd ask straight up "Do you want me to vote yes or no?" The answers he got all ran along the lines of "It's not my place to answer that question, I don't want to be put in that position, I can't answer that question". I think this has tainted his approach a little as it's pretty farking frustrating when your own electorate won't give you a straight answer.

I know next to nothing about domestic politics but he infuriates me less than most others do....

Agreed. People laughing at anothers misfortune shits me no end, is one of the things that gets me really stirred up.

Example, was at a party last weekend, and we had to help a fellow get home that came from a broken family, was dislexic, and amongst his other learning difficulties, could not even tell his left from his right. A young man that is going to find this life espescially tough. When we [RTD and myself] got back to the main gathering, a few people asked where we had been, and when we stated that we had to take the afore mantioned guy home, one girl asked why. After explaining that he had no sense of direction, and was not able to distinguish between left and right, could not read street names etc, this little pop-tart bitch began openly laughing. Not a nervous giggle, but a fully fledged [witches] cackle. When I explained to her that one day she may have to pull her head out of her arse, and realise that there is much more to the world than her perfecto little nuclear, white middle class family, she gets offended......hmmmmmm.

Another instance, that contrasts a little to my first post. It angers me greatly when somebody with a disability (or their family) wants them to be treated in the same manner as everybody else around them (I agree with this part) but then beleives they should be exempt from the consequences of their actions.

A fellow at school in a grade below me I think, has some developemental and learning difficulties, and the entire school (staff included) have been nothing short of excellent in accepting him as just another person of the school, yet when he receives a detention for doing the wrong thing (disrupting class then giving a teacher the reversied peace sign) he manages to escape it because he is 'different' to everyone else. He understood perfectly what he was doing. He knew that it was 'naughty' or 'wrong' or against what was expected of him as a productive member of the school. Obviously this is a very minor incident, but it frustrates me that they change circumstances to suit themselves

The people they try and provoke really havent got a chance, if they stop and confront them, its asswhooping time of the gangbashing kind.
