Well, seeing there is a Crumpler banner on Farkin at the moment i thought i would post up my Crumpler, and show the couple of mods i have done to it to make it more useful, some others may also find this helpful.
Bag is a Crumpler Complete Seed Messenger bag in grey. I like the shape of the bag, comfy to ride in and large enough to hold all my crap, but stock is has no secure pockets for phones, wallet, coins etc, no large pockets to hold text books or a4 size books, and it has no reflective tape on it. If anyone from crumpler reads this, i don't understand how you can sell a courier bag with no reflective tape on it or anywhere to hold large items securely. Shame, shame, shame!

I added 4 sections of 3M reflective tape. You can buy it from work wear shops, it costs $5 a meter i think. I am fairly handy with a sewing machine so i gave it a go, put 3 sections on the rear and one on the front strap so car drivers can see me at night..

Biggest issue was the lack of large pockets. If you put the books in the larger part of the bag they move around and end up digging into your back, not nice to ride with. So i unstitched one of the pockets (there used to be three) making 1 large and 1 small pocket, then added some velcro straps so i can secure it all up.

The bag had no secure pockets. I added velcro to one pocket so it can be closed so you don't have to worry about your money or phone falling out while riding, the other addition was a small loop of fabric on the other pocket which i use to hold my keys (via a carabena), really handy item as i don't have top take my bag off to get my keys, i just reach around and unclip them.
Enjoy!
