View Full Version : My Black and yellow beast! with new forks!!!!!

Finally after rooting my boxxers i got my new forks a set of 2005 888RC's with flat crown. very nice indeed!!!! :D i need some 1" rise bars cause my 2" rise bars look spastic as its so high. thanks to Stu French as well!

Frame: 04 ironhorse SGS world cup w/5th element Ti spring and e.13 linkages
Fork: 2005 888 RC
Brakes: Shimano XT 4pot 8" F&R (juicy 7 in a week)

very nice indeed!!! all you need to do now is take the rock shox sticker off and replace it with a big M! nice bike mate.

what is the rear travel?

is it more dh or freeride?

how does it ride

im with u on that, sweet ride now, i think tommo uses it as more of a dh bike, but youll have to get the info from him

Went for a quick ride with tommo on the weekend and it looks sic he sint to shabby on it either also got a sic track happening.;)

juicy's because i like them and they are the new thing haha

rear hub is 165mm length

i use it as a DH race bike, freeride bike, street bike and Comuter lol but mainly DH

chainguide is custom because its cut in a few spots to allow differnt mounting positions, and different top chain cover thingy, thats about it, works the shit though!

and yes i totally forgot about that rockshox sticker SHAME ON ME! might haev to find a big ass M

The bike previously had 2 pairs of Boxxers on it Dave (obviously not at once...), hence the sticker.

Looks tight Tommo, maybe don't bend the forks this time... :D

The rear hub is 165mm. It makes for a really strong rear wheel, but does tend to get banged up a bit on rocks...

not much i wouldnt think 4pots rule lol im just looking into some juicys soon as i can get them extremely cheap for a set.
