View Full Version : Christmas drinks idea, Thurs 22nd or Fri 23rd
Ahoy, long time no post in this forum :)
If anyone's interested, I propose that us Farkiners meet up to have a few beers to celebrate the mass consumption and consumerism of this time of the year. Plus it's great weather to sit in a nice venue, chugging on amber goodness and talking shit about bikes/whatever else.
I'm interested in going to either the Malt Shovel microbrewery on King St wharf, or the Belgian bier cafe on Manly wharf. Either the 22nd or 23rd are good for me, but if we could come to some sort of group consensus it'd be great. Really though, I'll be in the city on both nights so I'm not really fussed about organising dates, whatever others decide is good for them I'll tag along to ;)
Throw around a few ideas if you will, hopefully we can get a few people out as it'd be nice to catch up with the lads I haven't seen since my bikes started collecting dust :o

Well Thursday night in Manly is doable for me
But one or two after beer o'clock on Friday in the city would be possible too. I just could not stay long as I have to head north for xmas.

I'd love to drown myself in the vats at Malt Shoveler microbrewery, so let's aim for there as our destination. Meeting at 8pm would be cool, allows us to knock off last minute Christmas duties and have dinner beforehand. I'll probably be in the CBD at 6pm, and would be happy to meet earlier if anyone else is willing.

Rik, give us a yell when you are in town. If you are anywhere near central around 6ish I will try & bail work early, we can hold hands & take a nice stroll in the sunset through darling harbour to the brewery. :p
