Hey guys. A friend of a friend has on old 2002 Giant AC3 that he's selling and i'm not sure how much to pay...
It needs a new crank, doesn't have a seat, gears are a bit jumpy, and is missing a rear disc brake. All this I can fix, but I have no idea how much to pay for it, the bike is in pretty good nick too.. but I need you guys advice.

if hes ur mate thats selling it he should be trustworthy enough not to rip you off blind, but then again...
Are the specs on it stock(whats left of it) if so, ide say pay around 700

I'd agree with that, with those few small extra expenses and mates rates $700 sounds about right..
Whilst this topics up, what do you guys think the (older) AC frames are worth?

Older AC frames were pretty crass. Chainstays weak, and i've crackd the headtube/downtube join area on mine (but i had 04 drop off triples :o).
I advise against it unless your going to leave the pyslos on.

How old when you mean older, are you talking about the 2001 and 2's . If you are ide say 500 or something. All depends on condition, and from what ive herd by older AC owners the chainstays arent that weak, and they hold up alright on tripples im sure.
